Powell’s POV: Jon Moxley pulled out of the event due to an elbow infection and was replaced by Pac. Moxley has stated that he hopes to be ready for the October 2 AEW on TNT premiere. AEW is advertising a one-hour pre-show beginning at 6CT/7ET, and the main card will air at 7CT/8ET. Join me for live coverage as the event streams on B/R Live pay-per-view, regular pay-per-view television, and FITE TV pay-per-view internationally. Dot Net Members will hear an exclusive same night audio review of this event.
If you have to win a match to earn a first round buy, then you’re just wrestling your first round match at a different time than everyone else. AEW is so stupid with this crap.
Even worse, these teams had to win past matches to earn their spots in this match just to have a shot at the first round bye.
Yeah, I’ve already checked out on AEW enough that I didn’t realize that. They’re just 3 idiots and Cody trying to run a company without a clue of how to build programs.
You’re missing 2 matches. There’s the 21 women battle royal(presumably on the pre-show) with the winner getting 1 of the 2 spots to crown the inaugural women’s champ when AEW starts on TNT. And they also announced SCU vs Luchasaurus/Jungle Boy/Marko Stunt.
