New Japan Pro Wrestling announced that Will Ospreay has been medically cleared to return to the ring starting with Thursday’s G1 Tournament match against Kota Ibushi. Ospreay sat out of a non-tournament match on Monday with a neck injury. Read the official announcement at NJPW1972.com.
Powell’s POV: Based on the second tweet below, Ospreay seems confident about his health going into Thursday morning’s match with Ibushi, which looks sensational on paper. I will have a review of Thursday’s G1 Tournament matches available at some point on Thursday. My reviews of the first four days of the G1 Tournament are available in our NJPW PPV Reviews section.
