Eli Drake (Shaun Ricker) announced today that he is officially a free agent, meaning he is no longer under contract with Impact Wrestling. Drake noted in a social media statement (available below) that he had a four-year run with the company and thanked Impact officials for “the overall great experience.”
Powell’s POV: Impact Wrestling announced that Drake was no longer with the company back on April 7. “Impact Wrestling announced today that it has terminated its relationship with Shaun Ricker, known as ‘Eli Drake’,” read a statement released by the company. I’m not sure what the holdup was, but apparently it’s taken nearly two months for this to become official.
