Ring of Honor announced that Flip Gordon (Travis Lopes Jr.) aggravated a knee injury and will not be able to wrestle as advertised on the March 31 event in Baltimore. “There is concern that Gordon may have suffered a ‘bucket handle’ meniscus tear, which would require surgery and keep him out of action for four-to-six months,” reads a report on ROHwrestling.com. “The extent of the injury will not be known until the results of Gordon’s MRI exam are in.”
Powell’s POV: Gordon returned to the ring in Northern Ireland over the weekend and then noted on Twitter that he woke up the morning after and was unable to bend his knee completely. Gordon had been sidelined by a torn MCL suffered during a match at ROH’s Honor Reigns Supreme event on January 13.
Unfortunately this morning I woke up and my knee was completely locked up. I was able to make it onto my flight and just landed back home, but still can’t bend it completely.
I have a doctors appointment scheduled for tomorrow morning! 😩🙏🏽🤞🏽 #PositiveVibes
