Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling have announced the following matches for the G1 Supercard event that will be held on April 6 in New York, New York at Madison Square Garden.
-Jay Lethal vs. Matt Taven vs. Marty Scurll in a triple threat ladder match for the ROH Championship.
-Jay White vs. New Japan Cup winner for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.
-Guerrillas of Destiny vs. PCO and Brody King for the IWGP Tag Titles and the ROH Tag Titles.
-Taiji Ishimori vs. Dragon Lee vs. Bandido in a triple threat for the IWGP Jr. Hvt. Championship.
-Jeff Cobb vs. Will Ospreay for the ROH TV Title and the Never Openweight Championship.
-Rush vs. Dalton Castle.
-The Honor Rumble.
Powell’s POV: Bully Ray also issued an open challenge to a street fight for this event. The card is coming together nicely. ROH released a video that sets up the ladder match that can be viewed below. The G1 Supercard event will be available via HonorClub, New Japan World, FITE TV, and pay-per-view television.
