Impact Wrestling Homecoming lineup: Johnny Impact vs. Brian Cage for the Impact Championship headlines Impact Wrestling’s first event of 2019

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

The following matches are advertised for the Impact Wrestling Homecoming show that will be held on January 6 in Nashville, Tennessee at the Fairgrounds.

-Johnny Impact vs. Brian Cage for the Impact Championship.

-Tessa Blanchard vs. Taya Valkyrie for the Knockouts Championship.

-LAX vs. Pentagon Jr. and Fenix for the Impact Tag Titles.

-Ultimate X for the vacant X Division Championship (Entrants: Jake Crist, Ethan Page, TBD).

-Abyss vs. Eli Drake in a Monster’s Ball.

Powell’s POV: I like the theme of the show and the lineup thus far. Here’s hoping that Fenix will be healthy enough to work the tag title match. He was pulled from the MLW shows in Miami and it was noted that he would be sidelined until January, but there’s no official word on his status yet. Homecoming will air on pay-per-view television and FITE TV.
