The new NWA “10 Pounds of Gold” digital series “Destination NWA 70” continues the build to the Cody vs. Nick Aldis best of three falls match for the NWA Championship at the NWA 70th Anniversary event. Check out the video below or at the NWA Youtube Page.
Powell’s POV: The footage includes Aldis working out with baseball player Cody Decker, and spotlights Willie Mack as Cody’s first challenger to the NWA Championship. There’s a fun breakdown of the differences in upbringings between Cody, who acknowledged that he was the spoiled son of a rich wrestler and got everything he wanted, while Mack grew up with some family issues in Los Angeles. Aldis also chimes in on that match and discusses the possibility that he could face Mack instead of Cody in Nashville. Tickets for the NWA 70th Anniversary show are on sale at NWA70.com. The event will be available as a pay-per-view via FITE TV.
