Footage aired of Salina de la Renta hosting Maxwell J Friedman and Aria Blake on a rooftop. MJF said the location was nice “for Puerto Rico”. Salina told him to watch his mouth or she’d have his tongue for breakfast. Janala laughed awkwardly and then sat down next to Salina. Powell’s POV: Another showcase squash win for Martinez.

Ring announcer Tim Barr introduced Simon Gotch’s prize fight challenge. Gotch and Tom Lawlor headed to the ring. Gotch announced that the prize was up to $2,000. Gangrel was introduced as his surprise opponent. Gangrel dropped an elbow on Gotch and covered him for two. Gotch came back with a sleeper. Gangrel bit him and the referee called for the bell.

ACH sold back pain as he went to the ropes. Smith rolled out of the way of a top rope splash. Smith performed a running powerslam and got the clean win…

Davey Boy Smith Jr. defeated ACH.

Powell’s POV: A shorter than expected match. I assumed this would be more competitive.

Backstage, Kaci Lennox interviewed Konnan about the main event. He said to expect a lot of blood and weapons. Salina showed up and thanked him for giving her Pentagon Jr. as a sacrifice for LA Park. They spoke at one another in Spanish. Konnan said he has known LA Park for years and he will turn his back on Salina and he will take another client away from her…

A video hyped Los Ingobernables leader Rush as coming soon to MLW… Bocchini read through the tale of the tape…

4. Pentagon Jr. (w/Konnan) vs. LA Park (w/Salina de la Renta) in a Mexican Massacre Match. LA Park brought chairs to the ring with him and stood on one of them in the ring as some fans threw streamers. Pentagon brought a trashcan out with him. LA Park tore a good portion of Pentagon’s mask during the opening minute and dragged him to ringside. Park posed with fans who were chanting his name, then picked up a table and leaned it against the guardrail.

Park worked over Pentagon with items from ringside and choked him with a chain from the lighting grid. Park brought him back inside the ring and removed his belt and whipped Pentagon with hit. Pentagon came back and performed a great flip dive to the floor that drove Park through the table and drew “holy shit” chants. Back in the ring, Pentagon performed a top rope double stomp for a two count. Park came back with a clothesline and did his strut and dance. A “this is awesome” chant broke out.

With Park hung up in the ropes, Pentagon performed a double foot stomp and got another two count. Park, whose mask was also torn, rebounded with a suicide dive. Later, Pentagon put a trashcan over Park and hit i with a kendo stick. Pentagon mocked Park’s dance, then ate a spear. Pentagon set up a table in the ring and positioned Park on the ropes and hit him with a trashcan. Pentagon set up for a move on the table, but Park leapt from the ropes and speared him through it. Pentagon threw a fireball at Park and covered Park for two. Pentagon slammed a trashcan over the referee. Park low blowed Pentagon and grabbed the referee, who made a fast three count…

LA Park defeated Pentagon Jr. in a Mexican Massacre Match

Schiavone hyped El Hijo De LA park vs. Jimmy Yuta, and Brian Pillman Jr. vs. Vandal Ortagun for next week…

Powell’s POV: Hardcore wrestling is definitely back. This was a wild brawl that the live crowd went crazy for. It went nearly 20 minutes and both guys worked hard and put on a good show. The rest of the show was pretty standard aside from perhaps the Gangrel surprise appearance, but the main event carried it and is worth going out of your way to see.
