The new NWA “10 Pounds of Gold” digital series video “People, Places, Sell Outs” features Billy Corgan discussing the NWA and the Nick Aldis vs. Cody title match. Check out the video below or at the NWA Wrestling Youtube page.
Powell’s POV: The video includes some great filmed in the Waterloo, Iowa hotel where the NWA was founded. Former NWA Champion and current WWE producer Adam Pearce is shown in the hotel footage. Plus, there’s some great video from the Dan Gable Museum with comments from Kyle Klingman, who runs the museum. It’s a top notch production that does a great job of emphasizing the history of the NWA while promoting the Nick Aldis vs. Cody match for the NWA Championship at All In. Also, is Corgan speaking in general terms with his final line of the video or foreshadowing an NWA Title match for the ROH/NJPW event at Madison Square Garden on April 6?
