Powell’s POV: For those living under a rock, the jury ruled in favor of Cabana and Punk on Tuesday, meaning they don’t owe Amann any money. The podcast is essentially a daily audio journal that Cabana recorded after each day of the trial. It’s a tremendous listen and Cabana somehow managed to keep it concise at just under 49 minutes. It’s fascinating to hear Cabana share details about the toll the proceedings took on him, how he felt the jury perceived certain things, and what his attorney was telling him at certain points of the trial. Cabana actually recorded his thoughts at the courthouse while the jury was deliberating. He also noted that Amann was actually seeking roughly $40 million in damages from him. Cabana then spoke with his attorney after the jury ruled in their favor. Plus, Cabana’s mom checks in at the end of the podcast with her thoughts on her son going through this experience. A must listen show.
