WWE announced the release of Emma (Tenille Dashwood) on Sunday. Read the official announcement at WWE.com. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Tyler England]
Powell’s POV: A surprising move in that she just worked back to back televised matches with Asuka and it’s not like WWE to announce their talent cuts on Sunday morning. WWE announced her release in 2014 following an alleged shoplifting incident, but they ended up changing their minds just hours later.
If Impact’s smart, they’re making calls and laying out plans to bring her in. She’d be a nice addition, and would help fill the void left by Taryn’s departure and Gail Kim’s impending retirement.
