Maria Menounos, who has been a frequent WWE guest broadcaster over the years, announced that she underwent surgery to remove a golf-ball sized brain tumor. Menounos noted that the surgery was successful and her surgeon was able to remove most of the tumor. ““He said there’s a six to seven percent chance that we’ll see it come back,” Menounos told People.com. “But I’ll take those odds any day.”
Powell’s POV: Sadly, the People story adds that Menounos was caring for her mother, who has stage 4 brain cancer, when she discovered her own medical issue. On a more positive note, Menounos noted that her recovery will take roughy a month and she will be back to normal soon. Here’s wishing her the best in her recovery.
