Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live scored a 1.71 rating, down from the 1.72 rating the show drew last week. As previously noted, the show averaged 2.493 million viewers, down from last week’s 2.554 million viewers.
Powell’s POV: A notable drop in viewership, yet the rating barely dropped. It will be interesting to see how the show performs now that wrestlers such as Jinder Mahal and Breezango, who were enhancement acts last month, are suddenly featured players in title matches. The April 28, 2016 edition of Smackdown delivered a 1.54 rating with 2.109 million viewers.
