Linda McMahon, who was nominated by President Donald Trump to head the Small Business Administration, is facing lawmakers from the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee in a confirmation hearing today in Washington, D.C. The Chicago Tribune reports that she is expected to face questions regarding how WWE dealt with “mom-and-pop outfits” when she served as chief executive.
“From what we know of Linda McMahon’s record, there’s a history of questionable competitive practices as she and her husband developed their massive business through gobbling up their competition,” Amanda Ballantyne, director of the Main Street Allliance, told the Chicago Tribune.
