-Highlights from the Royal Rumble opened the show, which was hosted in the WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut by Scott Stanford, David Otunga, Corey Graves, and Booker T. They brought up the “major star” return. Booker claimed he new who it was, but he was not saying. Otunga predicted The Rock would be the surprise since they are in Miami.

-The appearances by A.J. Styles and Sami Zayn were brought up. Graves said he’s known Styles for ten years and he wrestled against him “internationally” and he noted that Booker probably knows him even better. Booker said he’s a “marquee talent” and “a big catch for WWE.” Graves noted that Kevin Owens said, “Welcome to WWE” when he eliminated Styles from the Rumble match.

-The hosts discussed The Wyatt Family eliminating Brock Lesnar from the Rumble match. Otunga said Triple H benefitted from the family members returning and eliminating Lesnar. Graves praised Wyatt for having the courage to call out bigger names.

-A WWE website interview with Kalisto after his U.S. Title win aired. He kept fighting, he never gave up, etc.

-The Divas Championship match was recapped along with the post-match angle with Sasha Banks.

-Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch was announced for Raw. The hosts played up the fact that Sasha came out at the Rumble without Team BAD.

-The hosts wrapped up the show by hyping the mystery “major star.”
