Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez signed a multi-year deal with WWE and officially retired from MMA on Friday, according to ESPN.
Powell’s POV: Velasquez worked some matches in Mexico before signing with WWE. He will face Brock Lesnar at the WWE Crown Jewel event on October 31 in Saudi Arabia. With WWE rushing right into the Lesnar match, it will be interesting to see what they do with Velasquez coming out of Crown Jewel.
