8/29 AAW in Chicago results: The Besties in the World vs. LAX vs. Lucha Brothers in an elimination match for the AAW Tag Titles, Jim Lynam Memorial Tournament first round matches

AAW “Jim Lynam Memorial Tournament”

1. Laredo Kid beat Ace Austin in a first round tournament match.

2. Curt Stallion defeated Joey Lynch in a first round tournament match.

3. Eddie Kingston over Jimmy Jacobs in a first round tournament match.

4. Myron Reed beat Trey Miguel in a first round tournament match.

5. Josh Alexander defeated Jake Something in a first round tournament match.

Armando Alejandro Estrada announced to the crowd that Jacob Fatu was unable to make the tournament due to family issues. He was disqualified from the tournament. A match was set up between Sami Callihan and Good Brother #3 (Mance Warner).

6. Sami Callihan beat Good Brother #3 in a non-title match.

7. PACO defeated Jake Atlas in a first round tournament match.

8. Ace Romero over Willie Mack in a first round tournament match.

9. Colt Cabana beat Maxwell Jacob Friedman in a first round tournament match.

10. “The Besties in the World” Davey Vega & Mat Fitchett defeated “LAX” Santana & Ortiz and “The Lucha Brothers” Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix in a Triple Threat Elimination to win the AAW Tag Titles. The Lucha Brothers were eliminated by LAX first, then Vega and Fitchett Scarlett Bordeaux came out and hugged Vega, then Killer Kross came out and eventually left Vega and Fitchett lying.

Next show: Tonight in Chicago at Logan Square Auditorium with Colt Cabana vs. Josh Alexander, Myron Reed vs. Loredo Kid, PACO vs. Ace Romero, Curt Stallion vs. Eddie Kingston, plus the semifinals and finals of the tournament.
