-WWE Smackdown is in Toronto, Ontario at Scotiabank Arena with the brand’s first show after SummerSlam. WWE is advertising Roman Reigns vs. Buddy Murphy. Join Jake Barnett for his weekly live review as the show airs on USA Network at 7CT/8ET. Dot Net Members will hear my audio review later tonight, and my WWE Smackdown Hit List will be available on Wednesday.

-The latest Ring of Honor television show features the second week of their new television format and concludes Marty Scurll, PCO, Brody King, and Flip Gordon vs. Bandido, Tracy Williams Mark Haskins, and PJ Black. My written review will be available today along with Haydn Gleed’s members’ exclusive audio review.

-The dark main events advertised on the arena website for tonight’s Smackdown taping are Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship, and Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre.

-Jim Brunzell is 70 today.

-Jeff Farmer, who worked as NWO Sting, is 57 today.

-Spike Dudley (Matt Hyson) turned is 49 today.

-Brian Adams died of a drug overdose on August 13, 2007 at age 43.

-Lance Cade (Lance McNaught) died of heart failure at age 29 on August 13, 2010.
