All Elite Wrestling announced that they will hold their second TNT television event on October 9 in Boston, Massachusetts at Agganis Arena, and the third event will be held on October 16 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Liacouras Center. The ticket pricing and pre-sale information will be announced on Friday. The first AEW on TNT event will be held on October 2 in Washington, D.C. at Capital One Arena.
Powell’s POV: Agganis Arena’s listed capacity is 7,200, and the Liacouras Center holds 10,200. Impact held Slammiversary 2013 at the Agganis Arena, and the Liacouras Center hosted Bound For Glory in 2011. I like the idea of AEW running mid-size venues until they prove they can run NBA-sized venues on a weekly basis.
