The NWA announced on Sunday that Jim Cornette will be on color commentary for their 70th Anniversary event on October 21 in Nashville. Cornette will join play-by-play voice Joe Galli, who is the voice of the Championship Wrestling From Hollywood promotion. It was previously announced that Tony Schiavone will call the main event between Cody and Nick Aldis for the NWA Championship. Click here for ticket information.
Powell’s POV: We only have five men announced for the show and we already have Cornette, Schiavone, and a Rhodes family member. The NWA is doing a great job of playing into its history for their anniversary show, which will be available for pay-per-view via FITE TV.
