WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry said the feeling amongst black WWE wrestlers is split. “I’ve talked to guys that were like, ‘Man, the hell with him,'” Henry told TMZ.com. “I do feel like he genuinely wants to clear his name. He sees people that used to respect him, they look at him different. And it hurts. And he brought that on himself. But, he’s trying his best to clear that up.”
Powell’s POV: It’s nice to hear an honest assessment of the situation from Henry rather than the fluffy “everybody loves and forgives Hulk” talk that the company would probably prefer to have out there. You can also check out a story written by Paul Guzzo of TampaBay.com that includes quotes regarding Hogan’s return from a historian of Tampa’s civil rights movement, Brian Blair, Lanny Poffo, and others.
Yeah because I am sure Mark Henry or any of the other black wrestlers have never once in their lives said anything about any other race or group of people. People need to stop playing saints. No one is buying it. And no once cares no matter what they say. People love to pretend they are offended, makes them feel noble. It’s all BS!
Its amazing how so many of you racists are coming out and projecting your hatred on to everyone who isn’t taking up for that POS. No not every one is a garbage human being like you. No not everyone thinks less of people just because of their race, and use vile language to express it when no one’s around. Stop thinking this is a thing everybody does, just because you and guy who made you feel good as a child have something in common.
