WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry said the feeling amongst black WWE wrestlers is split. “I’ve talked to guys that were like, ‘Man, the hell with him,'” Henry told TMZ.com. “I do feel like he genuinely wants to clear his name. He sees people that used to respect him, they look at him different. And it hurts. And he brought that on himself. But, he’s trying his best to clear that up.”
Powell’s POV: It’s nice to hear an honest assessment of the situation from Henry rather than the fluffy “everybody loves and forgives Hulk” talk that the company would probably prefer to have out there.
