The new NWA “10 Pounds of Gold” digital series video “Cody vs. Nick Aldis” features footage of Cody discussing his opportunity to become a Triple Crown Champion with his upcoming title shots at the ROH, IWGP Heavyweight, and NWA Championships. Powell’s POV: The video also features Aldis discussing the match and noting that he’s annoyed by all of Cody’s other ventures and what he labels greed. The storyline is that Cody must be the ROH Champion in order to get the shot at the NWA Championship at the All In event on September 1 in Chicago. Cody is challenging for the ROH Title on Friday at the ROH Best in the World event and Aldis announces in the video that he will be at the show.
