Former WWE wrestler Enzo Amore changes name, releases a rap video

By Jason Powell, Prowrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

Former WWE wrestler Enzo Amore is now going by Real1 and has released a rap video called “Phoenix” via World Star. Please note that the video contains NSFW lyrics, but you can check it out below or at Youtube.com. Amore noted on Twitter that the video has over 1 million views between Youtube and World Star.

Amore told Adam Glyn in New York on Monday night that he’s been working with people in Hollywood on “writing scripts, screenplays, directing, producing and making music.” He also said he’ll be dropping a ton of content on the world. The rap video pokes fun at obsessive pro wrestling fans and takes shots at the woman who accused him of rape in Phoenix, Arizona. For those who missed it, police declined to press charges against Amore in that case due to insufficient evidence.

Powell’s POV:  I’m not surprised the video has received so many views, but the big question is whether fans will actually pay to support him as a rapper. I’d tell him not to quit his day job after listening to the first track, but it’s too late for that since WWE released him back in January.

  2. For the love of god white people, STOP RAPPING!

  3. His music career is gonna go S-A-W-F-T…
