NJPW lineup: New Japan Cup tournament begins Friday morning, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Minoru Suzuki meet again in a six-man tag match

The following matches are advertised for the New Japan Pro Wrestling show that will be held on Friday morning in Tokyo, Japan at Korakuen Hall.

-Tomohiro Ishii vs. Michael Elgin in a New Japan Cup tournament match.

-Juice Robinson vs. Yujiro Takahashi in a New Japan Cup tournament match.

-Kazuchika Okada and Yoshi-Hashi vs. Kota Ibushi and Chase Owens.

-Hiroshi Tanahashi, Toa Henare, and Togi Makabe vs. Minoru Suzuki, Taichi, and Takashi Iizuka.

-Tetsuya Naito, Sanada, and Bushi vs. El Desperado, Zack Sabre Jr., and Yoshinobu Kanemaru.

-Tanga Loa and Bad Luck Fale vs. Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Lance Archer.

-David Finlay, Tomoyuki Oka, and Shota Umino vs. Hirooki Goto, Toru Yano, and Chuckie T.

Powell’s POV: The event will air on Friday morning at 3:30CT/4:30ET with English commentary on the New Japan World streaming service. Kevin Kelly will be on the call, but his usual broadcast partner Don Callis won’t be working this event. I hope to have my review of this show available on Friday afternoon.
