WWE revealed its 2016 second quarter financial results on Thursday. The company reported $0.8 million net income compared to $5.1 million net income in the second quarter of 2015. The company touted quarterly revenue of $199 million.
“I continue to be pleased with the execution of our strategy to optimize the long-term value of our content,” Vince McMahon stated in a press release. “Progress on this objective is evidenced by the continued year-over-year growth of WWE Network, the transition of SmackDown to a live format every week and the completion of our first exclusive content agreement in China.” Read the full report at corporate.wwe.com.
