Jordan Myles calls out WWE over offensive t-shirt design

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

NXT wrestler Jordan Myles (Albert Hardie Jr.) called out WWE in a tweet over an offensive t-shirt the company designed for him (see below). “I will keep posting this till my voice is heard,” Myles wrote on Twitter. “I’m not sorry for anything I say or do. Representation is important. If this is @VinceMcMahon & @TripleH “vision” of me then this is a slap in the face to EVERY African American performer, fan, and supporter.” WWE responded by issuing a statement stating that Myles approved the t-shirt for sale.

Powell’s POV: The t-shirt design is certainly questionable. It’s insane that it made it through whatever process they have before being manufactured, though WWE indicated in their statement that none of the t-shirts were actually sold.

  1. This ahead of having Hulk Hogan as part of a show, in Saudi at that. Wow, just… unbelievable. How stupid can one company be?

  2. I will admit that I don’t know why this shirt is offensive. And that’s not me being racist or me being a bigot or anything, it’s just I really don’t know. What makes the shirt racist?

  3. Apparently his teeth look like letters….? Or something?
