By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

-AEW Dynamite is live tonight from Huntsville, Alabama at VBC Probst Arena. The show features Jeff Jarrett vs. Claudio Castagnoli. Jarrett will get an AEW World Championship match if he wins. Join Jake Barnett for his weekly live review as the show is simulcast on TBS and Max at 7CT/8ET. Jake’s same night audio reviews are available exclusively for Dot Net Members (including our Patreon patrons).

-We are looking for reports from tonight’s live AEW Dynamite in Huntsville, as well as tonight’s taping for Saturday’s AEW Collision. If you are attending either show or another upcoming event and want to help, send me a note at dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-I gave last week’s AEW Dynamite a B- grade.

-I gave Saturday’s AEW Collision a B+ grade. The Toni Storm and Mariah May angle was great, and this was one of the better episodes of Collision.

Birthdays and Notables

  1. The overwhelming majority gave that god awful Dynamite a deserved F, but somehow it was a B-? And this is the week you choose to leave the fan vote out of this post?

    • I’m no longer running poll results if the vote count is low and it leads to the same 9-12 people who vote F regardless of show quality having the majority. It’s clearly the same people voting F week in and week out and has been for years, so don’t waste your time trying to spin it. Are there times when the show has deserved an F and it wasn’t the same 9-12 F voters? Absolutely. And if any show has a good number of votes and F wins, I’ll run the poll results without hesitation. Otherwise, you can find the poll results on the actual poll page and take all the pride you want in seeing the same people vote F every week. The tribal nonsense is pathetic on both sides.

Finally, I couldn’t care less how you or anyone else votes when I grade a show. I don’t base my opinions on how other people vote. In fact, if I’m doing an audio review for a show, I grade it at the beginning of the review, typically long before I’ve even look at poll results.
