The following press release promotes the free “The Ref Didn’t See It!” documentary available below or via the Kayfabe News YouTube Channel.
The Ref Didn’t See It!, a documentary celebrating the referees of professional wrestling, is now free to watch in full on the Kayfabe News YouTube channel.
The film follows Kayfabe News creator Colin Hunter as he trains to become a pro wrestling referee and learns what it takes to be the third person in the ring. It features Earl Hebner, Bill Alfonso, Al Snow, Tommy Dreamer, Santino Marella, Colt Cabana, Cody Deaner, Mad Man Pondo, Steve Maclin, Kevin Sullivan (RIP), and loads more.
Sports Illustrated called it “an uplifting, engaging, and entertaining story.” CBC said it “shines a spotlight on the third person in the ring.”
Pro Wrestling Illustrated rated it “5 out of 5!”
The Ref Didn’t See It! was directed by Sara Geidlinger (Bonn Park Media) and written by Geidlinger and Hunter.
Powell’s POV: I haven’t had a chance to watch the one-hour documentary, but I’m looking forward to seeing it this week. Check it out below.
