WWE Raw (Episode 1,742)
Bossier City, Louisiana, at Brookshire Grocery Arena
Streamed live on October 12, 2026, on Netflix
[Hour One] Joe Tessitore opened the show… A Money in the Bank recap video aired… Tessitore and Corey Graves spoke at their ringside desk. Tessitore narrated backstage/arrival shots of Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso, the Judgment Day’s Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, Roxanne Perez, Women’s Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez, and JD McDonagh, Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable, AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix, and Oba Femi…
Ring announcer Lilian Garcia introduced men’s Money in the Bank winner Penta, who headed to the ring with a black, white, and red MITB briefcase with his logo on the front, with the words “Dinero Banco.” A “you deserve it” chant broke out. Penta thanked his MITB opponents and said he’s earned everything.
Je’Von Evans’ entrance theme played. Evans limped onto the stage with his right arm in a sling. Footage aired of Evans’ bump through the top of the ambulance at MITB. Evans lifted his shirt to show that his ribs were wrapped. He said he was hurting, but he wasn’t going to miss a Raw. Evans told Penta that he was proud of him and said he deserved it. Penta and Evans hugged.
Bron Breakker entered the ring. When Penta and Evans stopped hugging, Evans spotted Breakker and shoved Penta aside. Breakker speared Evans and then left the ring. Trainers ran out to check on Evans. Breakker smiled and gave a thumbs up before a commercial break… [C]
Powell’s POV: I didn’t think the ambulance bump looked very good, due to the top of the ambulance clearly being made out of wood. Still, I think it’s the right move to have Evans play up his storyline injuries. Also, Lilian Garcia noted on her Instagram page today that Byron Saxton was a late replacement as the Money in the Bank ring announcer due to Alicia Taylor being ill. She got the call to fill in tonight. Finally, WrestleTix listed the venue as being set up for 7,924, with 7,328 tickets distributed. The total number of seats on the map is 12,840. The last time WWE ran the venue, 3,823 tickets were distributed for an April 30, 2023 live event.
Big Cass was in the ring coming out of the break. Rey Mysterio’s entrance was televised…
1. Rey Mysterio vs. Big Cass. Rey slapped Cass and then went to the floor. Cass went after Rey, who dropped down next to the ring steps. Cass couldn’t find Rey, who ended up on the apron. Rey dove at Cass, who caught him, but was able to perform a hurcanrana that sent Cass into the barricade. Cass came back by shoving Rey into the barrier. Cass pressed Rey over his head and tossed him over the top rope and back inside the ring. [C]
Rey had a brief run of offense that Cass cut off with a big boot. Cass went for a powerbomb, but Rey threw punches at him until he was released. Cass charged Rey and tumbled over the top rope to the floor when Rey moved. Rey hit a 619 on Cass, who was standing on the floor. Rey put Cass down with a tornado DDT on the floor.
Once Cass returned to the apron, Rey performed a 619 to his legs. Cass fell into position for the standard 619. Rey went for the move, but Cass cut him off. Cass worked over Rey in a corner of the ring and ignored the referee, who barked about disqualifying him when he worked over Rey.
Dragon Lee showed up on the ring apron. Cass tried to hit Lee with a big boot, but Lee avoided it and then caught Cass with a kick while the referee wasn’t looking. Rey hit Cass with a 619 and then used a victory roll to get the pin…
Rey Mysterio defeated Big Cass in 10:35.
Powell’s POV: Another loss for Cass. I suspected that he was re-signed to be built up as a big man threat to Oba Femi. Unfortunately, he’s spent most of his time putting over smaller wrestlers.
A video package recapped the 946 vs. Bloodline drama… Royce Keys, Jaida Parker, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price were featured in a new video…
Backstage, Adam Pearce informed referee Chad Patton that he had assigned him to the 946 vs. Bloodline match. Patton questioned if it was punishment. Pearce said no. He said he wanted Patton to do his best to keep order and hopefully get a pinfall or submission. Pearce and Patton shook hands…
The Judgment Day was shown walking backstage while Tessitore said Liv Morgan would be up next… [C]
The Judgment Day’s Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez, and JD McDonagh made their entrance. Morgan did her pest heel “alllllllllll time” line. Ugh. Morgan said the Women’s World Championship is back where it belongs in the Judgment Day. She spoke of placing her focus on becoming a two-time Crown Jewel winner.
WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green made her entrance and entered the ring. A loud “Chelsea” chant broke out. Green said she wasn’t there to spoil Morgan’s celebration. Rather, she just wanted to stand face-to-face with the champion she will face at Crown Jewel.
Green offered a handshake, but Morgan laughed at her. Morgan said handshakes are for equals. She called Green a placeholder champion. Green said she didn’t mind being underestimated by Morgan because it’s happened throughout her career. Green said she would make Morgan respect her. She said she couldn’t be called a placeholder champion by Dominik Mysterio’s placeholder girlfriend. The fans in the live crowd gasped.
Perez stepped forward and said Green can’t beat Morgan, Rodriguez, and definitely couldn’t beat her. Green asked if she wanted her to try. They went face-to-face. A referee entered the ring and tried to clear the extras so they could have the impromptu match… [C]
Powell’s POV: They mentioned Crown Jewel, but I don’t believe they’ve mentioned that the event is scheduled to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Riyadh airport has been attacked multiple times in recent days, which has led to a lot of questions about whether the Saturday, November 7, premium live event would be moved or cancelled.
2. WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green vs. Roxanne Perez (w/Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) in a non-title match. The match was joined in progress coming out of the commercial break. Green performed a missile dropkick before another break. [C]
[Hour Two] Perez hit a Shining Wizard that led to a close near fall. Graves said he’d ask for the tape if he were Perez. Morgan interfered by grabbing Green’s leg. Green grabbed Morgan by the hair until Perez cut her off. Perez went for a springboard moonsault, but Green put her knees up.
Rodriguez climbed onto the apron. Green shoved Perez into Rodriguez, which sent them both to the floor. Green hit Perez and Rodriguez with a suicide dive. Morgan ran over, but Green saw her coming and tossed her over the broadcast table. Green returned to the ring. Perez kicked Green and hit Pop Rox before getting the three count.
Roxanne Perez defeated WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green in 10:25 in a non-title match.
Afterward, Morgan squatted down and told Green that it was her show. Green slapped Morgan. Perez and Rodriguez attacked Green and then held her for Morgan, who hit Green with her Oblivion finisher…
Powell’s POV: I’m not a fan of the champion vs. champion match concept for Crown Jewel, but they did a nice job of making things feel personal between Green and Morgan.
Solo Sikoa entered the locker room, where Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso were seated. Jey said he and Jimmy were the captains. Solo said they’re not captains, and Roman Reigns is not his Tribal Chief. Solo said they should follow his lead. Jey got upset, but Jimmy calmed him down and said they needed to work together…
Oba Femi was shown walking backstage… [C] Replays of Je’Von Evans’ bump through the top of the ambulance were shown along with the commentary of several international broadcast teams…
The crowd started to cheer in anticipation, and then Oba Femi made his entrance while the fans chanted his name. Oba said he was in a very good mood. He asked the fans if they saw what he did to Bronson Reed. Oba said he was told it would be Tsunami after Tsunami. He said it was all clear skies and there are no Tsunamis in New Orleans. Oba said everyone will bend a knee to him. He spoke about moving on now that The Vision understands this.
Paul Heyman delivered a “Ladies and gentlemen,” and then he was shown on he stage. Heyman said no man had kicked out of Reed’s Tsunami, but Oba did. The fans chanted “Oba.” Heyman told the fans he agreed with them 100 percent. Heyman asked for permission to enter the ring, which Oba granted.
Heyman said that when we look towards the future of WWE, Oba is the guy. Heyman said Oba was even better at Money in the Bank than he was at WrestleMania and SummerSlam against Brock Lesnar. Heyman said he realized that Oba is the guy, and then said that brought him to his point.
Oba stopped him. Oba started to speak. Heyman tried to interject, but Oba stopped him and slapped the microphone out of his hand. “I am not Brock Lesnar, I am definitely not Roman Reigns,” Oba said. “Those are Paul Heyman guys. I am an Oba Femi guy.” Oba left the ring…
Powell’s POV: Oba shot down Heyman without listening to his pitch. It will be interesting to see how Heyman handles being rejected.
Backstage, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce was speaking with Iyo Sky, who said she’s looking for her next challenger. Lyra Valkyria interrupted and said she had a serious issue. Valkyria asked what Pearce was going to do about Bayley, whom Valkyria said was ruining her life. Valkyria pointed out Bayley watching in the distance. Pearce said she worked there. Valkyria stormed away.
Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez showed up. Perez said she should get a shot at the WWE Women’s Championship. Pearce said she should go to SmackDown and take it up with Nick Aldis. Rodriguez ended up insulting Sky, who told Pearce that she found her next challenger…
Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable made his entrance to his awful entrance theme… [C]
Backstage, Jackie Redmond spoke with LA Knight. She said Knight didn’t beat Roman Reigns, but then she raved about the match. Knight said he wasn’t looking for any flowers because he didn’t get what he wanted.
Solo Sikoa entered the picture and praised Knight’s performance. Knight brought up Solo working with the Bloodline later. Solo asked Knight if they were good. Knight said they were, but he wasn’t very convincing…
Powell’s POV: It’s refreshing that Knight was frustrated over not winning the championship and didn’t care about having a good match. His character seemed a bit darker, and this left me looking forward to seeing what comes next.
3. Chad Gable vs. AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix for the Intercontinental Title. Fenix’s entrance was not televised. Lilian Garcia delivered in-ring introductions for the title match. Fenix performed a moonsault off the middle rope onto Gable on the floor before an early break. [C]
Fenix went for a rolling cutter, but Gable caught him and performed an Angle Slam. Fenix came back and sent Gable to the floor. Fenix dropkicked Gable. Fenix charged Gable, who suplexed him against the barricade. Gable sent Fenix back inside the ring. When Gable returned, Fenix hit the rolling cutter for a nice near fall. [C]
A graphic listing Crown Jewel for Saudi Arabia was shown while the match continued. Fenix performed a rope walk kick and a big frog splash for another good near fall. Gable came back with the ankle lock. Fenix broke free and put Gable in the ankle lock. Gable escaped and reapplied the ankle lock on Fenix, who struggled to reach the ropes, but he eventually got there.
Gable performed a suplex and dropped the back of Fenix’s head on a turnbuckle pad. Gable went up top. Fenix got to his feet and fell against the ropes, which crotched Gable on the top rope. Fenix set up for a Mexican Muscle Buster, but Gable countered with an ankle lock and forced Fenix to tap. “What a classic!” Tessitore exclaimed.
Chad Gable defeated AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix in 18:40 to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
Afterward, Gable offered a handshake to Fenix, who was still on the mat. Fenix accepted, and Gable pulled him to his feet. Gable raised Fenix’s arm and pointed at him…
Powell’s POV: I’m surprised they had Fenix take a clean loss when they’re trying to establish the AAA Cruiserweight Championship on the main roster, but it’s not like he was hurt by losing such a good, competitive match.
Tessitore hyped WWE’s live events in Hawaii on Saturday and Sunday, and the tryouts that will be held…
Solo Sikoa and the Usos were shown warming up in their locker room… [C] Tessitore hyped the Agents of Shadows on ReelShort, which includes Drew McIntyre and other WWE wrestlers… A preview of Agents of Shadows was shown. The footage included McIntyre, Michael Hayes, Jacob Fatu, Royce Keys, Nikkita Lyons, Big E, and Joe Hendry…
Byron Saxton stood outside the trainer’s room and said Stephanie Vaquer was inside being treated for an ankle injury suffered at Money in the Bank. Vaquer walked out of the room on crutches and told Saxton that she’d be okay. Saxton asked for her reaction to losing the Women’s World Championship. She said she picked the match and didn’t expect it to happen.
Becky Lynch showed up, causing Saxton to make his exit. Vaquer and Lynch bickered. Vaquer said she doesn’t respect Lynch anymore after Money in the Bank. Vaquer indicated that her ankle would be better in a few days. She said she didn’t need to be a champion to kick Lynch’s ass. Lynch indicated that she couldn’t wait to face Vaquer…
The broadcast team hyped World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns vs. WWE Champion Sami Zayn for Crown Jewel in Riyadh…
Tessitore announced the following for Monday’s Raw in San Diego: Roman Reigns returns, and Joe Hendry vs. JD McDonagh…
Jackie Redmond interviewed Rey Fenix, who spoke about his match with Chad Gable. Ethan Page showed up and said Fenix showed that he can’t beat Gable. Page told Fenix to stay away when he gets his opportunity. Page teased leaving and then returned and attacked Fenix. Page ran Fenix into a couple of production crates. Chad Gable showed up and ran off Page. Gable called for a doctor while Fenix sold one of his legs…
Jaida Parker was shown exiting a box truck. Parker knocked on the back of the truck. The door opened, and then Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price emerged… [C]
[Hour Three] The fans booed while Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, Lucien Price, and Jaida Parker walked down the steps to the main floor, then walked through the crowd to ringside and then climbed onto the broadcast table. The Usos made their entrance, followed by Solo Sikoa. Parker climbed onto the apron and jawed at Solo and the Usos while Keys, Nima, and Price stood on the broadcast table. Solo and the Usos climbed onto the apron, and then Keys, Nima, and Price dropped off the table and stood with Parker on the apron. Both teams entered the ring while Parker went to the floor…
4. “The 946” Royce Keys, Lucien Price, and Bronco Nima (w/Jaida Parker) vs. Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso. All six wrestlers stood in the ring while referee Chad Patton spoke to them. Jey charged Nima and threw punches, and then the others joined in to start the match. Keys and Solo ended up fighting on the floor. Keys tossed Solo into the timekeeper’s area. Keys returned to the ring and helped his allies work over the Usos.
Keys headed back to the floor. Solo threw an office chair at Keys. Nima went after Solo. Price and Jey joined the fight on the floor, and then Jimmy performed a dive from the top rope onto the pile of wrestlers on the floor before a picture-in-picture break. [C]
The 946 was in offensive control, and the match settled into an actual six-man tag rather than a tornado tag. The 946 isolated Jimmy, who eventually caught Price with a step-up enzuigiri. Solo was in the corner waiting for a tag, but Keys tagged in and knocked Solo off the apron. Keys spotted Jey on the apron and knocked him back to the floor.
Prince and Nima set up Jimmy for a move, but Jey returned to save his brother. Jimmy finally made the hot tag to Solo while Keys also tagged in. Solo put Keys down with a Samoan Drop. Solo hit a standing Keys with a hip attack in the corner. Keys fell to the mat and was seated in the corner when Solo hit him with a standard hip attack.
Solo hit the Spinning Solo and went for the pin, but Parker pulled the referee out of the ring and then tossed him over the barricade. Solo jawed at Parker. Nima tried to take advantage of the distraction, but Solo saw him coming and tossed him over the top rope. Nima pulled Solo to the floor and ran him into the ring post. Jimmy took out Nima, but Price slammed Jimmy on the apron.
Jey superkicked Price. Jimmy got up and joined his brother for a double superkick that sent Price over the barricade. The Usos and Price followed. Nima and Price got the better of Jimmy. Tessitore said Keys took out Solo with the ring steps in front of the broadcast table, but the production team missed it. Nima and Price had Jimmy down on the main floor.
Jey dove off a balcony onto Nima and Price on the floor. Parker followed with a dive from the balcony onto the Usos.
The 946″ Royce Keys, Lucien Price, and Bronco Nima fought Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso to an apparent no-contest.
At ringside, Keys set up Solo for a move while they were both standing on the ring steps in front of the broadcast table. “Ain’t nobody…” Keys said before Solo cut him off. Solo performed a Samoan Drop that put Keys through the broadcast table. Solo brought Keys back to the ring and performed a top rope splash. Solo set up for a Samoan Spike.
A man wearing a bandana over his face entered the ring and hit Solo with a crowbar. The man faced the hard camera and lowered his bandana to reveal Carmelo Hayes. Keys held Solo while Hayes jabbed him with the crowbar. The Usos returned to help Solo, but they were put down. Hayes hit them both with the crowbar. Nima and Price performed a double Samoan Drop on Jimmy.
Keys told Jey to tell Reigns that “ain’t nobody safe.” With Solo and Usos laid out on the mat, Keys sat on a chair while his allies stood behind him. The executive producer credits were shown while Graves said, “Watch your back, Bloodline, these streets have new kings,” to end the episode…
Powell’s POV: A strong brawl. The 946 came off like badasses and like legitimate threats to the Bloodline. I like the addition of Hayes, who felt like he had gone as far as the creative forces were going to push him on SmackDown. He should fit with the 946, and is certainly the faction’s best in-ring performer. Will they set up the WarGames match next week since Roman Reigns is advertised?
Overall, this was a strong episode of Raw. I will have a lot more to say about the show during my weekly same-night audio review of Raw for Dot Net Members (including our Patreon patrons). Let me know what you thought of the show by grading it below.
