MJF released a promo responding to Cody’s challenge in which he revealed his alliance with The Butcher, The Blade, and The Bunny. Check out the promo below.
Powell’s POV: I have no idea why AEW didn’t include this promo on last night’s edition of Dynamite. It’s a brief, well delivered promo that served as a good response to Cody’s promo segment. And if nothing else, at least this explains why The Butcher & The Blade didn’t choose MJF as Cody’s tag team partner.

Easy. The people running the show have zero understanding of how to build programs for the vast majority of people. They’re so busy using YT and other social media (which are all losing users drastically) that they’re ignoring the casual fan that they need to capture before the company tanks.
For example, this video is only on Twitter which is used by 22% of US adults.
They have no idea what they’re doing, despite a few great bits that mostly involve Cody, and are pissing away a billionaire’s money because they can.
