Mickie James announced that she will need surgery to repair a torn ACL. James suffered the injury during a house show match with Carmella on Saturday in Waco, Texas.
Powell’s POV: Dot Net reader Chris D noted in his report on the Waco event that the match ended abruptly due to James being injured. Here’s wishing her the best with her surgery and recovery. Furthermore, here’s hoping that WWE does right by her once she returns. James returned with a lot of fanfare at an NXT event, but they haven’t done anything to make her feel special on the main roster despite her long history with the company.
