Jimmy Uso (Jonathan Fatu) was arrested in Detroit, Michigan and charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction following a traffic stop. TMZ.com reports that Uso and his wife Naomi (Trinity Fatu) were pulled over after she drove a car in the wrong direction on a one-way street. As Naomi was speaking with police, Uso ignored police commands by getting out of the car and removing his jacket and shirt and squaring up. The story states that an officer pulled out his taser, and Uso settled down before being arrested and later released on bond.

Powell’s POV: I reached out to WWE for comment and they responded with the following statement: “Jonathan Fatu is responsible for his own personal actions.”Although TMZ cited sources who stated that Naomi and Jimmy’s vehicle “reeked of booze”, there’s no indication in the story that Naomi was arrested. Uso and his brother Jey are scheduled to face The Miz and Shane McMahon for the Smackdown Tag Titles at Sunday’s Elimination Chamber event.

  1. Probably not the best time to make jokes about the Uso Penitentiary.

  2. You didn’t have to ‘reach out’ because WWE released that statement publicallly. Nice try though

    • Yes, I did reach out to WWE PR via email. And, yes, WWE PR did respond by emailing me the statement a short time later. Do you really think I would ruin my credibility with readers and WWE’s PR staff by making that up? If you really believe that or the other negative things you post about me and used to email me then I suggest you find a different pro wrestling website to follow.

  3. Well, it’s probably safe to wager who’s going to be taking the fall in the Smackdown Tag Title match at EC.

Naomi must be one terrible driver though, being she wasn’t arrested for driving impaired.

    • I live just outside of Detroit. It’s easier than you think if you’re not from around here to accidentally turn the wrong way on a one way street inside the city limits.

  4. Hopefully, a “Total Divas” camera crew was with them
