UFC officials are discussing the idea of CM Punk facing Mike Jackson at the UFC 225 event that will be held on June 9 in Chicago, Illinois. MMAFighting.com’s Ariel Helwani reported the news and added that “discussions are in the early stages with no final decision made just yet.” Read more at MMAFighting.com.
Powell’s POV: Jackson and Punk have matching 0-1 records and both men lost to Mickey Gall. Jackson has been lobbying for the fight and trying to create interest in it via social media.
