WWE has removed the WWE Cruiserweight Championship match from the Royal Rumble lineup. Enzo Amore vs. Cedric Alexander were scheduled to meet for the championship at Sunday’s event.

Powell’s POV: Amore was suspended indefinitely on Monday after a woman claimed online that he raped her in October 2017. Therefore, it’s no surprise that Amore’s match has been pulled from the show. It will be interesting to see how the situation is addressed on Tuesday’s 205 Live television show.

“WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving sexual harassment or sexual assault,” read a statement that WWE issued to Prowrestling.net on Monday. “Until this matter is resolved, Eric Arndt (aka Enzo Amore) has been suspended.”
