-WWE Smackdown Live is in Washington, D.C. at Capital One Arena. The show will feature final hype for Sunday’s Royal Rumble event. Join Jake Barnett for live coverage as the show airs on USA Network at 7CT/8ET, and I will be by later tonight with my audio review and again on Wednesday with my WWE Smackdown Hit List.

-The WWE Mixed Match Challenge features Big E and Carmella vs. The Miz and Asuka. The show airs at 9CT/10ET on Facebook Watch.

-WWE’s 205 Live airs tonight at 9:30 CT/10:30 ET on WWE Network after the Mixed Match Challenge. In other words, it appears the show is back to it’s one-hour time slot after going under 30 minutes last week. John Moore’s review will be available on Wednesday morning.

-There advertised dark main event for tonight’s Smackdown is AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens with Daniel Bryan as guest referee.

-Leilani Kai (Patty Seymour) is 58.

-Alex Silva (Alexander Freitas) is 28.

-The late Shohei “Giant” Baba was born on January 23, 1938. He died of cancer at age 61 on January 31, 1999.
