The WWE Extreme Rules event will be held on July 15 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The company issued an email announcing AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Baron Corbin in a Triple Threat for the WWE Championship for the show. Powell’s POV: Keep the ol’ “card subject to change” in mind, though obviously this can also be viewed as a possible tell in terms of which wrestlers will end up on the same brand in the Superstar Shakeup. I suspect that WWE will be having conversations about the Shakeup all week and even on Monday, so I’m not giving too much credence to advertised matches on future shows because it’s likely that they haven’t finalized their decisions.
