Impact Wrestling will be using a four-sided ring at their television tapings starting today in Orlando, Florida at Universal Studios. The promotion released a photo of the ring via Twitter.com/IMPACTWRESTLING.

Powell’s POV: As someone who felt like the six-sided ring was much ado about nothing, I welcome the change. A number of Impact wrestlers voiced their displeasure when the company reverted to the six-sided ring back in 2014, including Austin Aries, who wrote on Twitter that the six-sided ring was “far less forgiving on the body and harder to maneuver around, especially on the top rope.” We are looking for reports/results from the Impact Wrestling tapings.
