Hulk Hogan awarded $25 million in punitive damages in Gawker case

hogan1Hulk Hogan was awarded an additional $25 million in punitive damages on Monday. TMZ.com reports the breakdown of punitive damages as Gawker owing Hogan $15 million, Gawker website owner Nick Denton owing $10 million, and and former Gawker editor A.J. Daulerio owing $100,000.

Powell’s POV: As previously noted, Hogan was awarded $115 million on Friday for actual damages. Gawker stated on Friday that they intend to appeal the jury’s ruling.
