-UR Fights is holding an iPPV on Sunday in Phoenix, Arizona at Celebrity Theater. The show features Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio in a pro wrestling match, Chael Sonnen vs. UFC star Michael Bisping in a grappling match, Tank Abbott vs. Dan Severn in an MMA fight, and Roy Jones Jr. vs. Vyron Phillips in a boxing match. Plus, they have Jim Ross on the broadcast team. The price of the iPPV is $11.99 and can be purchased via URrshow.tv.

-Evolve 56 is in Queens, New York at La Boom on Saturday with Timothy Thatcher vs. Matt Riddle for the Evolve Title, and Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Johnny Gargano. Plus, William Regal will appear for an autograph session.

-Evolve 57 is in Brooklyn, New York at American Legion Post 1060 with Drew Galloway and Johnny Gargano vs. Dan Barry and Bill Carr for the Evolve Tag Titles, Timothy Thatcher vs. Caleb Konley, and Matt Riddle vs. Chris Hero. -WWE is in Binghamton, New York at Floyd L Maines Veteran’s Memorial Arena on Sunday with the following advertised matches: Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus in a No DQ match, Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel with Dean Ambrose, AJ Styles in action.

-TNA is taping television in Orlando, Florida at Universal Studios today and tomorrow.

-The next Ring of Honor shows are the Supercard of Honor events that will be held in Dallas, Texas on April 1-2 at the Hyatt Regency. Neither show will be available as an iPPV, but both shows will be available via video on demand on the ROH website.

Birthdays and Notables

-Ethan Carter III (a/k/a Michael Hutter) is 33 today. EC3 and Drew Galloway have been tremendous additions for TNA, and both men have completely revitalized their careers in TNA and on the independent scene.

-Rick Martel is 60 today.

-The late Mike Bell was born on March 18, 1971. He died on December 14, 2008 at age 37. His battle with substance abuse was featured in the excellent documentary Bigger, Stronger, Faster, which was made by his brother Christopher Bell.

-Chikara founder and pro wrestler Mike Quackenbush (a/k/a Michael Spillane) is 40 today. He recently had a guest trainer stint at the WWE Performance Center.
