Powell’s POV: You have to feel for Mahal, who only recently returned from a near ten month layoff following another knee surgery. Here’s wishing him a speedy recovery.
He may want to consider hanging it up as a wrestler since he is so injury prone, he reminds me a lot of Rey Mysterio, he comes back from an injury only to get hurt again a short time later. He could easily make a transition to manager. They could even do a storyline where he places a large bounty on Drew McIntyre blaming McIntyre for “ending his career” and vowing revenge. Doubt they would go with this but the two men do have a past.
