Jim Ross’s brain surgery was successful

Jim Ross underwent successful brain surgery on Wednesday. Conrad Thompson shared the good news on social media. “Happy to report that our pal @JRsBBQ had a successful procedure this morning,” Thompson wrote. “I heard from his lovely daughter this morning that everything went well and good ole JR is expected to be back home by Friday!” Check out the full post below or via Thompson’s Twitter/X page.

Ross addressed the procedure on Tuesday. “Thanks for the outpouring of support regarding my upcoming brain surgery,” Ross wrote. “A hole will be drilled in my skull, and a small tube will be inserted reachinto [sic] my stomach to better manage/drain excess brain fluid. Powell’s POV: It’s great to hear that everything went well for the 74-year-old legend. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery for the best play-by-play voice in pro wrestling history.
