WWE Friday Night Smackdown, MLW Saturday Night SuperFight PPV, ROH in Pittsburgh and Columbus (reports needed), WWE 205 Live, next AEW, Evolve, and NWA dates, Bobby Heenan, Eli Drake, Tyler Reks

-WWE Friday Night Smackdown is in Buffalo, New York at Keybank Center with the first show coming out of Crown Jewel. It will be very interesting to see if the viewership number for this show bounces back after last week’s dreadful performance on FS1. Join me for live coverage as the show airs on Fox tonight at 7CT/8ET. Dot Net Members will hear my same night audio review after tonight’s show.

-WWE 205 Live is scheduled to stream live from Buffalo on WWE Network tonight at 9CT/10ET. Anish V’s weekly written and audio reviews will be available on Saturday morning.

-MLW Saturday Night SuperFight airs on pay-per-view television and FITE.TV on Saturday night from Chicago, Illinois at Cicero Stadium. The show is headlined by Jacob Fatu vs. LA Park in a No DQ match for the MLW Heavyweight Championship, and Teddy Hart vs. Austin Aries for the MLW Middleweight Championship. Join me for live coverage beginning with the four matches on the one-hour pre-show at 6CT/7ET. Dot Net Members will hear my same night audio review afterward.

-There are no WWE live events this weekend coming off the hellacious travel back and forth from Saudi Arabia. Monday’s Raw will be held in Uniondale, New York at Nassau Coliseum. WWE also has a UK tour that starts on Thursday.

-ROH is in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at Stage AE with The Experience on Saturday with the following notable matches: Villain Enterprises defend the ROH Six-Man Tag Titles against a team chosen by fan vote, Dragon Lee faces a wrestler selected by fan vote (Eli Isom, PJ Black, Jeff Cobb, or Kenny King), Rush teams with either Jay Lethal or Dalton Castle to face Matt Taven and either Jay Lethal or Dalton Castle depending on the fan vote.

-ROH is in Columbus, Ohio at Express Live with Unauthorized on Sunday with the following notable matches: PCO vs. Dan Maff, Rush and Dragon Lee vs. Mark Haskins and Tracy Williams, Mark Briscoe vs. Josh Woods with Jay Briscoe and Silas Young being forced to take a shot whenever there usual tag partner kicks out of a pinfall, Shane Taylor and a partner vs. Marty Scurll and Brody King.

-AEW Dynamite will be broadcast Wednesday on TNT from Charlotte, North Carolina at Bojangles Coliseum. The next pay-per-view even is Full Gear on Saturday, November 9 in Baltimore, Maryland at Royal Farms Arena with Chris Jericho vs. Cody for the AEW Championship.

-Impact Wrestling will be taping television on November 7-8 in Queens, New York at Melrose Ballroom. They will also be holding a Turning Point live streaming event for Impact Plus on November 9 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania at Holy Family Academy.

-The next MLW event coming out of Saturday Night SuperFight will be Fusion tapings on November 9 in Orlando, Florida at GILT Nightclub.

-The next Evolve events are November 9 in Queens, New York at La Boom for Evolve 139, and November 10 in Brooklyn, New York at Saint Finbar Catholic Church Gym for Evolve 140.

-The NWA’s next events are December 14-16 in Atlanta, Georgia at GPB Studios. The first night will be the “Into The Fire” pay-per-view and the other two nights will be tapings for future editions of the Powerrr series.

Birthdays and Notables

-The great Bobby Heenan (Raymond Louis Heenan) was born on November 1, 1944. He died on September 17, 2017 following a long battle with throat cancer.

-Gabriel Tuft, who worked as Tyler Reks in WWE, is 41.

-Eli Drake (Shaun Ricker) is 37.
