Ring of Honor has announced the following matches for the Summer Supercard event that will be held on Friday in Toronto, Ontario at Mattamy Athletic Center.

-Matt Taven vs. Alex Shelley for the ROH Championship.

-The Briscoes vs. Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa in a ladder war for the ROH Tag Titles.

-Kelly Klein vs. Tasha Steelz for the WOH Championship.

-Shane Taylor vs. Tracy Williams for the ROH TV Title.

-Rush vs. Dalton Castle in a No DQ match.

-Caristico, Stuka Jr., and Soberano Jr. vs. Barbaro Cavernario, Hechicero, and Templario.

-Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham vs. Bandido and Mark Haskins.

-PCO and Brody King vs. TK O’Ryan and Vinny Marseglia.

Powell’s POV: ROH added the Villain Enterprises vs. Kingdom tag match on Monday afternoon. ROH originally billed this event as featuring their own wrestlers along with talent from CMLL, NJPW, and the NWA. They went so far as to announce an NWA Title match with Nick Aldis defending against a Villain Enterprises faction member of Marty Scurll’s choosing. However, ROH and the NWA ended their partnership and thus the match was pulled from the lineup. Despite that issue, this looks like a strong lineup on paper. The Allure, The Bouncers, and Silas Young are also advertised, so I assume that additional matches will be announced this week. The event will stream live Friday night on the HonorClub streaming service.
