The NWA has released its latest “10 Pounds of Gold” video featuring hype for the Nick Aldis vs. Marty Scurll match for the NWA Championship that will be held at Saturday’s Crockett Cup 2019 event. Watch the video below or at the NWA Youtube Page.
Powell’s POV: A good final push for the NWA Championship match featuring comments from the champion, the challenger, and Billy Corgan. My favorite line came from Scurll, who said: “I’m going to become the NWA Champion. Why not beat my best friend for the belt? That’s what The Villain does.” It was also interesting to hear Scurll talk about how his run on TNA’s British Bootcamp made him start thinking about The Villain concept. The event is available via pay-per-view television, FITE TV, and HonorClub. The price on FITE TV is $24.99. Join me for live coverage on Saturday at 6CT/7ET.
