Luke Harper (Jonathan Huber) announced Tuesday via social media that he has requested his release from WWE. “My goal in the future is to continue to grow as a performer and a person to make my family proud,” Harper wrote. He also thanked WWE and fans (read the full statement below).
Powell’s POV: Harper did not indicate whether WWE agreed to grant the release. Tye Dillinger previously wrote a similar statement and ended up getting his release days later. At age 39, it makes sense for Harper to get out if the company doesn’t have any plans for him.

Good for him. Too many small wrestlers getting pushes instead of the wrestlers who really stand out.
I have mixed feelings. I always liked Harper and thus want him to be in the biggest company but I can understand his frustration and if he wants to leave I support him 100%
