Lucha Underground has released El Hijo del Fantasma, Texano Jr., Joey Ryan, Ivelisse, and Kobra Moon from their contracts, according to LuchaCentral.net. The story states that all five wrestlers have dropped their legal claims against Lucha Underground’s production company and El Rey Network in exchange for being granted their contractual releases.

Powell’s POV: I’m happy for the wrestlers in that this should free them up to make more money elsewhere. It remains to be seen whether Lucha Underground will be returning for another season or whether additional wrestlers could also score their releases if they make formal requests.
