Tye Dillinger (Ronald Arneill) announced that he asked for his contractual release from WWE on Tuesday. “I feel at this time this decision, as extremely difficult as it was, is what is best for myself and WWE,” he wrote on Instagram. “I wish to continue to grow as a performer and offer those paying hard earned money to watch a show I’m performing on, a little more of myself.” Read his full Instagram statement below.

Powell’s POV: Dillinger did not specify whether the company granted his release. For what it’s worth, he made the request on his 38th birthday. He previously wrestled as Shawn Spears on the independent scene.
