Ring of Honor play-by-play voice Ian Riccaboni confirmed that he has re-signed with the company. “Ring of Honor means the world to me; the wrestlers, the crew, and the fans,” Riccaboni wrote on Twitter. “We’re a family. I approached our office and producers about staying. They shared the same sentiment. I am excited to announce that I signed a mult-year deal to stay with ROH. Happy wrestling, indeed!”
Powell’s POV: Sean Radican of PWTorch.com reported the signing previously and noted that while Riccaboni’s last deal ran until April, he was nearing a window that would have allowed him to negotiate with other companies. By locking him up early, ROH kept their talented play-by-play voice in the fold rather than risk losing him to another suitor.
