WWE Tribute to the Troops special, Impact Wrestling TV, Miz & Mrs. marathon, Dot Net Weekly, WWE TLC, ROH Final Battle, WWE Raw and Smackdown poll results, Junji Hirata, Takeshi Rikio, Gran Akuma, Toscano

-The 13th annual WWE Tribute to the Troops special airs tonight on USA Network at 8CT/9ET.

-The Impact Wrestling television show is in “best of” mode for the next two weeks. Impact airs on Pop TV at 9CT/10ET. John Moore’s reviews and my Impact Wrestling Hit List and members’ exclusive audio review will return once the company begins airing first-run programming again on January 3.

-USA Network will air a marathon of the Miz & Mrs. reality show tonight beginning at 10CT. So if you are like me and need a Marjo fix before season two begins in 2019 then this is your chance.

-Dot Net Members will be listening to the new Dot Net Weekly audio show today with Jake Barnett and I conducting part two of the annual Raw roster evaluation. -ROH Final Battle received an a grade vote from voters in our poll. 57 percent gave the show an A grade and 32 percent gave it a B. I enjoyed the show and gave it a B+ grade.

-WWE TLC received a B grade with 67 percent of the reader vote. Jake Barnett and I both gave the show a B in our members’ exclusive audio review on Sunday night.

-Dot Net voters selected Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka in a TLC match for the Smackdown Women’s Championship as the best match of the WWE TLC card with 81 percent of the vote. Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles for the WWE Championship was a distant second with 11 percent.

-Monday’s WWE Raw received a majority vote of C as the letter grade with 35 percent of the vote. D came in second with 27 percent of the vote, and B drew 19 percent of the vote. I gave the show a C- grade.

-Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown received a majority vote of B as the letter grade with 39 percent of the vote. I also gave the show a B grade.

Birthdays and Notables

-Junji Hirata is 62. He also worked as Super Strong Machine.

-Takeshi Rikio (Takeshi Inoue) is 46.

-Gran Akuma is 44.

-Toscano (Oziel Toscano Jasso) is 45. He also worked as Tarzan Boy and Zorro.
